JULY 2024
Homeopath volunteer with H1P (Homeopathic Integration for the People) by invitation at pop up clinic in New Mexico for Underserved community.
Tracey's healthcare career began in a 1994 as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the ICU and ER. She graduated in 2014 with her BSN and practiced as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. More recently she provides care in Home Infusion and Home Hospice. Because of her experience as an RRT, she worked for two years during the COVID pandemic in that capacity and then returned to her RN role. Tracey's journey into homeopathy began when she saw its healing benefit for her pets. She graduated from the Homeopathy School International and passed her CHC exam just after graduation. She has a private homeopathy practice in Greenville, SC and also sees clients virtually. Tracey was the recipient of HNA's Advancing Nursing Leadership in Homeopathy Grant in 2023. She is a member of the Council for Homeopathic Certification, National Center for Homeopathy, and Friends of the Pharmacopeia of the United States. Prior to her career in healthcare, Tracey obtained a degree in Aviation and has her Commercial Pilot's License with Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings. In her leisure time, Tracey enjoys hiking with her rescue dogs in the foothills and mountains of the Carolinas.
The HNA Professional Advancement Committee is pleased to announce that the recipient of the 2023 Advancing Nursing Leadership in Homeopathy Scholarship is Tracey Duncan.
Tracey has been an RRT for 29 years and an RN for 9 years. She found homeopathy through her veterinarian. She shares, "I had never heard of homeopathy and was absolutely amazed by the curative results in my dog. He had skin allergies and allopathic medicine's answer was prednisone. The side effects were so undesirable that I searched for an alternative." She goes on to say "I already had the passion for helping others and this experience along with my personal journey as a client with my own homeopath led to me becoming a homeopathic practitioner."
Tracey graduated from Homeopathy School International with her CPHom. Motivated by her long standing passion to share and help, she assists others on their journey toward a sense of well-being, health and balance on all planes through classical homeopathy. Tracey’s goals include actively participating in making homeopathy a household word, becoming a catalyst for homeopathy in complementary medicine, and learning what her role will be in ongoing homeopathic research.
